This U.S. military issue hood is designed for use in extreme conditions. Constructed from 2 layers of Nomex® with a layer of Gore-Tex® sandwiched between them. This hard-to-find genuine G.I. hood provides flash protection and is also a barrier to the elements. It's windproof and waterproof, yet is also breathable for those hot and sweaty situations. It provides full head coverage and also features a long bib for neck protection. Color: olive green. Made in U.S.A. NSN 8415-01-111-1159.
